Hands #36-37: Chad Roudebush Doubles Thru Hunter Cichy

Jul 6, 2015

Chad Roudebush
Hand #36 – Craig Varnell raises from the cutoff to 725,000, and Hunter Cichy calls from the big blind. The flop comes QdQc9c, Cichy checks, Varnell bets 525,000, and Cichy calls. The turn card double-pairs the board with the 9s, and both players check. The river card fills up the board with the 9h, and they check again. Varnell shows KhJh to play the board, but Cichy turns over KdQs to win the pot with a higher full house, queens full of nines.

Hand #37 – Chad Roudebush (pictured) raises from the cutoff to 800,000, and Hunter Cichy calls from the small blind. The flop comes KsQsJh, Cichy checks, Roudebush bets 1,600,000, and Cichy moves all in. Roudebush calls all in for 6,775,000 with JsJc for a set of jacks, and Cichy turns over KdJd for two pair, kings and jacks.

The turn is the 2d, the river is the 3d, and Roudebush wins the pot with his set to double up in chips.

Chad Roudebush – 15,900,000 (53 bb)
Hunter Cichy – 8,900,000 (29 bb)
