Hands #39-41: Casterella Wins a Multi-Way Pot

Hand #39  –  Vadim Trincher raises from middle position to 40,000, winning the blinds and antes. 

Hand #40  –  Lee Markholt raises from middle position, winning the blinds and antes. 

Hand #41  –  Lee Markholt limps under the gun for 16,000, William Botchis limps from middle position, Lenny Cortellino limps from the cutoff, Matthew Casterella limps from the button, and Alex Perelberg checks his option in the big blind. 

All five players see a flop of [As9c3h], three players check, Cortellino bets 42,000, and Casterella and Markholt both call. (The other two players fold.) The turn card pairs the board with the [3d], and all three players check. 

The river card is the [5d], Markholt checks, Cortellino bets 100,000, Casterella calls, and Markholt folds. Cortellino shows [AhQd] (pair of aces), but Casterella shows [Ac5h] to win the pot with two pair, aces and fives.
