Hands #40-42: Ladies For Jaffee; Costa Ships

Hand #40 – Jared Jaffee opens to 51,000 from under the gun and finds calls from Randall Price on the button and Ryan Eriquezzo in the big blind. The flop brings all low cards with [5h3d2c] and Eriquezzo checks. Jaffee continues for 100,000 and Price quickly calls. Eriquezzo folds and the two are heads up to fourth street.

The turn is the [Kc] and Jaffee slows with a check. Price fires 175,000 and Jaffee calls. The [2d] pairs the board on the river and Jaffee checks again. Price tanks for over a minute before checking it back. Jaffee shows [QsQh] which is enough to take down the pot and boost him to well over 2 million in chips.

Hand #41 – Margo Costa raises to 75,000 from early position and Price is her only caller. The [9s7s5d] flop prompts an all in bet for 698,000 from Costa and Price folds [8h8s] face up. Costa tables [AsJh] for just ace-high and drags in the pot.

Hand #42 – Corrie Wunstel opens to 50,000 from middle position and finds calls from the two players in the blinds: Jaffee and Blake Purvis. The [QcQd5h] flop falls and there are two checks to Wunstel who continues for 72,000. Jaffee sticks around while Purvis folds.

Both check the [9d] on the turn and see the [Jc] complete the board. Jaffee checks and Wunstel uses both hands to move what looks to be 390,000 into the middle. Jaffee takes a moment before releasing his cards.
