Hands #65-70: It's Nearing 1:00 am Local Time

The final seven players are still in Level 23, with blinds at 10,000-20,000 with a 2,000 ante. Play will continue tonight until one more player is eliminated. The WPT Final Table starts tomorrow at 5:00 pm local time (11:00 am ET; 8:00 am PT).

Hand #65 – Stefan Mattsson has the button in seat 2, he raises to 62,000, and Guy Sitbon calls from the big blind. The flop comes [AdQh8s], and both players check. The turn card pairs the board with the [Qc], Sitbon bets 50,000, and Mattsson calls. The river card is the [5h], Sitbon bets another 50,000, and Mattsson calls. Sitbon shows [KsJc] for a missed straight draw, and Guy Sitbon shows [As7h] to win the pot with two pair, aces and queens.

Hand #66 – Andreas Vidal has the button in seat 4, and Erik Friberg moves all in under the gun for 224,000, winning the blinds and antes.

Hand #67 – Guy Sitbon has the button in seat 5, and Thiago Nishijima raises under the gun to 52,000, winning the blinds and antes.

Hand #68 – Martin Lundenius has the button in seat 6, and Stefan Mattsson raises from early position to 42,000, winning the blinds and antes.

Hand #69 – Erik Friberg has the button in seat 8, and he moves all in for 218,000, winning the blinds and antes.

Hand #70 – Thiago Nishijima has the button in seat 9, and everyone folds to Stefan Mattsson, giving him a walk in the big blind.
