HAND #72  –  Dan Smith completes the small blind to 80,000, Jonathan Jaffe raises from the big blind to 230,000, and Smith calls. Both players check to the river on a board of , Smith bets 325,000, Jaffe raises to 1,100,000, and Smith folds. Jaffe takes the pot.

HAND #73  –  Dan Smith raises from the button to 800,000 (most of his stack), and Taylor von Kriegenbergh uses his last Time Chip to tank for a while before he moves all in.

Smith calls all in for about 1,015,000 with , and Von Kriegenbergh turns over . Smith needs to improve to stay alive.

The board comes , and Smith turns an open-ended straight draw, but improves no further. Von Kriegenbergh wins the pot with the two pair on the board and his ace kicker to eliminate Smith in third place.
