Hands #95-97: Kevin Rivest Raises Zeyu Huang on the Flop

Hand #95 – Yunkyu Song limps in and Kevin Rivest checks.

Rivest bets 400,000 on the flop and Song calls. Both players check the turn and Song bets 900,000 on the river. Rivest calls and Song shows , but Rivest has for aces and sevens sevens with a ten-kicker to win the pot.

“I have my coat, too,” Rivest says, mimicking Song’s familiar all-in posture by wrapping his sweater around his body.

Hand #96 – Alexander Wong raises to 600,000 under the gun and Kevin Rivest and Zeyu Huang both call in the blinds.

The flop comes and Wong bets 700,000. Both opponents quickly fold.

Hand #97 – Kevin Rivest raises to 700,000 on the button and Zeyu Huang three-bets to 2,250,000 in the small blind. Rivest calls and the flop comes .

Huang bets 1,500,000 and Rivest raises to 4,000,000. “Pressure,” Rivest says as Huang, with no time banks remaining, allows his clock to nearly run out before he folds.
