Hartmann Chips Up, Nanev and Holz Don't

Pascal Hartmann raised under the gun to 35,000 and Fedor Holz called from the cutoff. Hartmann check-raised Holz’s bet of 41,000 by putting his German opponent all in, and Holz folded leaving himself with just 180,000.

On the very next hand Rumen Nanev limped from the small blind and Hartmann checked his option in the big.

The flop brought out J97 and Nanev check-called 44,000. On the turn the 6 hit and the Bulgarian check-called another 69,000.

The river was the 4 and once again Nanev called when Hartmann bet. This time the bet was 157,000 and Hartmann showed J9 for top two pair. Nanev mumbled he had two pair as well while Hartmann’s now among the chip leaders.
