On a flop of AK10, the big blind checks and Mark Herm bets 5,300 from middle position. The big blind asks how much Herm has left and Herm begins to answer and moves his arm to allow him to see what he has. The big blind tells him it’s ok and check-calls.
The turn is the A and the big blind checks again. Herm bets 7,100 and the big blind again asks how much he has left. Herm doesn’t verbally respond and just moves his arm. The big blind check-calls and they watch the 6 fall on the river.
The big blind checks for a third time and Herm bets 16,000. The big blind takes a minute in the tank and then tosses in a call. Herm tables 95, showing nine-high and a missed flush draw. The big blind wins the pot with KQ and Herm is left with less than 10 big blinds.
