Higgins Second Bullet is a Blank

Simon Higgins has just fired his second bullet and it’s a blank.

We only caught sight of his coat tails but Ian Simpson very kindly retold the action.

It seems Higgins lost 99% of his stack in a hand against Simpson, after jamming on a 5x 5 2 4 holding A 4x, and Simpson called with J Jx. The river held no salvation for Higgins.

His final few chips went in against Gordon Huntly: 9 2 v A K, and the Scot hit both an ace and king on the turn to end Higgins involvement in Day 1A.
