Patrick Hirvonen’s stack has dwindled to 175,000, which at these blinds represents just over 10 big blinds.
Australian Hugh Cohen has a similar sized stack and has just moved all in from the hijack, which got Hirvonen thinking. He eventually folded in the small blind and Vincenzo Natale followed suit but Hirvonen entered a discussion with Johannes Korsar claiming he had folded nine-four offsuit and thought it could be worth a gamble due to the stack sizes and money already in the pot.
"I think it would be close," said Hirvonen
"No. It’s not close," laughed Korsar.
The following hand the action folded around to Gaetano Fortugno in the hijack seat and he made it 32,000 to play. After a fold Hirvonen slammed his small tower of chips onto the felt, an all in bet. Fortugno quickly folded.
"Was that because I folded nine-four off?" quizzed the Finn with a smile on his face. But he received no answer.
