A player limps from early position and Hoyt Corkins raises from the cutoff. Bob Smith is in the small blind and reraises, prompting a fold from the limper and a call from Corkins.
The flop comes down [Kc9s6d] and Smith bets out 35,000. Corkins raises to 70,000 and Smith thinks a minute before clicking it back to 105,000 total.
Corkins pauses for a few moments before announcing he is all-in for an additional 91,000. Smith thinks a bit before telling Corkins, "Hoyt, I am gonna lay this down…I think…because i want to live to see another hand."
Smith then turns over [AcKh] for top pair and tosses it in the muck. Some of the players at the table tell Smith they think it is a good fold.
Corkins agrees, telling Smith, "Very nice fold," with the slight hint of a smirk on his face.
Hoyt Corkins – 315,000 (103 BBs)
Bob Smith – 110,000 (37 BBs)
