James Dempsey Picks Up a Pot

With around 20,000 already in the po and the board reading [9s5h2s], Mike Meskin bets 18,000 from the big blind and James Dempsey calls from middle position.

The turn brings the [Jh] and Meskin fires again, this time betting 20,000.  Dempsey calls. The river is the [7c] and Meskin checks.  Dempsey doesn’t take long before betting 35,000.  Meskin thinks about it a good 30 seconds, then gives up the hand, giving Dempsey the pot.
