Jansma Is Building a Stack

Apr 16, 2018

While Dzmitry Rabotkin is having a nightmare of a start and already lost two third of the stack, Jan Jansma is doing much better and will close in on two times the starting stack very soon.

Jansma had raised to 500 first to act and was called by the small blind and Gary Miller in the big blind. On the Diamond ASpade 7Spade 5 flop, only Miller check-called a bet of 650 by Jansma and did so again for 1,200 on the Club J turn.

After the Heart 3 river, both players checked and Miller flashed Spade 9Spade 8 for a big missed fraw while Jansma had an ace.

Govert Metaal has since re-entered and sat down on a new table that also includes Claas Segebrecht. The German has sweet memories from Amsterdam, as he won the 2017 Master Classics Main Event here at Holland Casino.

Jan Jansma – 50,000
Gary Miller – 39,000
Claas Segebrecht – 30,000
Govert Metaal – 30,000
