Deborah Nizard has just recently been eliminated, while Yuri Ishida’s stack increased by a comparable amount of chips. Nizard had been losing momentum for the past hour, while Ishida has been building her stack up quite a bit.

Deborah Nizard – Eliminated
Yuri Ishida is a top player from Japan, though she mostly plays in Europe nowadays. We do hope to see her when the WPT returns to her home country for WPT Japan this fall (September 15-17), immediately followed by WPT Korea (September 18-24). The two events are so close together that players in Tokyo will be able to compete in the opening stages of WPT Korea, and those who advance will join the WPT Korea Main Event in Korea.
For more information, check out the press release on these two events, or go directly to the tournament info page on WPT.com.
