Arriving at Table 61 after the turn card had been dealt, there is around 4,000 in the middle and the board is showing [Ad][Jh][8s][Kd]. Jeremy Wien is in early position and contemplating an all-in shove for 27,500 by his lone opponent, Sue Doyle, who has the button. After thinking for a while Wien finally calls the bet, tabling [Ah][Jc] for two pair. But Doyle has turned a better two pair with [As][Kh], and after the [4d] falls on the river Doyle is up close to double the starting stack while Wien slips down to just 75 chips.
"Well, going to get the re-entry out the way early," says Wien.
He manages to quadruple up on the next hand after rivering two pair, but a few hands later goes all in for 300 and finds himself up against two opponents. One is John Dolan who bets the [Qc][6s][5c] flop to chase the other, then turns over [8s][8d]. Wien has [Js][2s], and after the [4s] turn and [2c] river he is eliminated, although is heading to the cashier to buy in once more.
Sue Doyle – 59,000
John Dolan – 32,000
Jeremy Wien – Eliminated
