Joey Gargiulo has been playing very tight recently, and his stack has slowly been diminishing until he found himself in the big blind with 210,000. (And 60,000 of that would be put in as the ante.)
Action folds to Chance Kornuth in the small blind, and he limps for 60,000. Gargiulo checks his option in the big blind.
The flop comes , and Kornuth bets 100,000, enough to put Gargiulo all in. Gargiulo folds face up, and Kornuth takes the pot.
Chance Kornuth – 8,570,000 (143 bb)
Joey Gargiulo – 90,000 (1.5 bb)
The next hand, James Mackey raises under the gun to 125,000, and Gargiulo uses one of his Time Chips to tank for about 45 seconds before he calls all in from the small blind for 90,000 with .
Mackey turns over , and Gargiulo needs his hand to hold to stay alive.
The board comes , and Mackey pairs his ten on the flop to win the pot and eliminate Gargiulo in 10th place.
James Mackey – 9,350,000 (156 bb)
Joey Gargiulo – Eliminated in 10th Place ($48,000)
The final nine players are now redrawing for random seats at the final table, and action will continue tonight until there are six players left.
