Jonathan Roy Eliminated

WPT Champions Club member Jonathan Roy, who won the inaugural WPT Montreal in Season XI, is the first player to be eliminated on Day 1C. Tablemate Carter Swidler filled us in on some of the details.

On the turn of an board, Roy check-called 6,000 from his opponent. The river was another , and Roy check-called all in for about 20,000.

Roy’s opponent showed for sevens full of threes, Roy’s hand wasn’t shown, and the former WPT Montreal champion was the first player eliminated on Day 1C.
