Chips are more valuable than ever with only 100 big blinds in play and everyone is feeling the squeeze. Nicholas Verderamo is now the most constricted player at the table as Jose Montes picked off his river bluff to drop him to 20 big blinds.
Picking up the action on a board, Montes checked from the small blind and Verderamo bet 90,000. Montes called and the hit the river. Montes checked again and Verderamo bet 205,000.
Montes didn’t waste much time calling and Verderamo could only muster . Montes turned over to take the pot and chip up to 2,500,000. Verderamo is currently playing about 1,600,000 while Karim Bevans is hovering near 4,000,000.
