We missed the action, but Ryan D’Angelo kindly filled us in on how he picked up a nice pot off Joseph Cheong.
According to D’Angelo, he raised to 300, Chad Batista reraised to 900 out of the small blind, and Cheong called out of the big blind. D’Angelo called as well and they went three-ways to a flop of 7-4-2 rainbow. Batista bet 1,300, Cheong raised to 3,300, D’Angelo called, and Batista folded.
The turn brought the [Jd]. Cheong checked, D’Angelo bet 5,200, and Cheong called. The river brought the [Ac] and Cheong checked again. D’Angelo bet 13,500, which represented around half of Cheong’s remaining stack.
Cheong called and mucked when D’Angelo showed [As7s] for aces up and he is already down to 12,500.
Ryan D’Angelo – 60,000
Joseph Cheong – 12,500
