Jules Hamidou was the chip leader after Day 1a last year but he cannot repeat the same feat as he loses two all-in showdowns in a row to bust.
He first three-bet-jams and Mattia Melideo calls all-in for 46,000 with the to see Hamidou turn over while the initial raiser is out of it. There is no upset on the runout and Melideo doubles.
Hamidou is down to 45,000 and jams the very next hand. Amiel Gamliel pushes over the top for 113,000 and John Kabbaj on the button asks for a count, then calls. The blinds fold and the cards are flipped over.
