Julien Sitbon is in a commanding position with 16 players left in the PMU.fr WPTDeepStacks Deauville Main Event, as he comes into the final day as the chip leader. Sitbon currently has 2.4m of the 12.6m in play; more than his next two nearest competitors combined.
Sitbon, along with Brice Bourgeix (1.1m) and Miroslav Alilovic (1.0m) are joined by Sandro Pitzanti (1.0m) as the only four players with seven figure stacks at the start of Day 3.
Other names still in with a shout include Jean Montury and last woman standing Mercedes Osti. Tobias Peters, runner-up in Valkenburg and final tablist in Amsterdam is eyeing his third final table of the WPTDS Europe season, and comes into the final day with an average stack of around750,000.
The plan for today is to play down to a winner, with the final table live-streamed on Twitch with both French and English commentary.
