Justin Zaki vs. Edward Gray

Nov 12, 2012

With the board showing [6h5h4hQs] on the turn and nearly 200,000 already in the pot, Edward Gray checks the big blind, and Justin Zaki checks under the gun.

The river card is the [2s], and Gray bets 125,000. Zaki counts out the chips for a call and tanks for several minutes, unable to pull the trigger. Twice, he grabs his chips as if to call, but holds himself back at the last second. It doesn’t appear to be an angle-shoot, because Zaki is in seat 1, and not even looking in the direction of Gray in seat 9 as he does this.

Zaki says, "Sorry. Twenty more seconds." After roughly that length of time, Zaki calls.

Gray showed [10c10s], and Zaki looks dejected as he turns over [9h9s]. Gray wins the pot.

Edward Gray  –  1,570,000  (98 bb)
Justin Zaki  –  595,000  (37 bb)
