There is a small raincloud in this room and it’s pouring rain all over the head of Martin Kabrhel. Yesterday, was a day that Kabrhel would rather forget after bluffing away most of his chips in one of the first hands of the day. As expected, he has once again slipped those feet into the complimentary white hotel slippers, and bounded downstairs to get stuck into the action, and once again it’s all going wrong.
Kabrhel opens the action with a 200 bet in first position. Four players make the call and we are soon staring at a flop of [Jc] [7s] [5s] that causes a bit of a ruckus.
The action checks to Kabhrel who bets 600, Azad Jabraylov immediately announces a raise to 1,600 one seat to his left, Alexander Lahkov flats on the button before the action falls back to Kabhrel.
“How many chips do you have?” He motions to Lakhov.
Lahkov explains that he has about 20k behind and Kabrhel reacts by raising to 4,600.
“All-in,” says Jabraylov before pushing all of his chips crashing over the line.
Lakhov folds, Kabhrel calls and this time you know he has the goods. It’s [7h] [5h] – good for two pair for Kabrhel – and [Kh] [Jd] for top pair for Jabraylov. It’s a loose move but you sense a smell of luck in the air.
Turn: [3s]
Kabrhel just wants to avoid a jack, king or any pair on the board.
River: [3c]
Jabraylov smacks the table with the palm of his hand and a sheepish looking Kabrhel pays the man his dues.
Jabraylov ~ 36,000
Kabrhel ~ 12,500
