Kamali Flushes on the River, Or Did He?

Irishman Dermot Blain opens the betting with a raise to 1,300 in middle position. He meets some resistance in the shape of Omid Kamali in the cutoff and Erik Scheidt on the button.

The trio see the [Kc][8h][7c] flop come into view, a flop that Blain fires a continuation-bet of 2,100 at. Kamali calls but Scheidt folds. The turn is the [Js] and Blain fires a second barrel worth 3,400 and once again Kamali calls.

The [tc] river completes a myriad of draws and Blain taps the table and checks. Kamali makes it what looks like 5,800 to play but we did not get the chance to count it as Blain folded and Kamali scooped the pot up.
