Keith Gipson Eliminated, Dominik Nitsche More Than Doubles Up In Three-Way All In

Jan 3, 2016

Keith Gipson moves all in under-the-gun for 145,000 and Dominik Nitsche moves all in from the small blind for 274,000. Brian Rast is in the big blind and stands up from the table, while going into the tank.

“I don’t think I can fold this,” said Rast. “I’m pretty sure I have to call, but I have to take a few seconds to think about this because we are playing for a lot of money.”

Rast takes a few moment and then puts the chips in, having both of his opponents covered. Rast shows Heart JSpade J and has the best hand against Nitsche’s Spade 10Diamond 10 and Gipson’s Club 2Diamond 2.

The flop is Club 10Heart 9Spade 4 and Nitsche takes the lead with top set. Gipson is basically drawing dead and Rast is looking for a jack. The turn is the Club 5 and the river is the Diamond 8 to send the pot to Nitsche and give him just shy of a tirple up. Gipson is eliminated and there is a pause in the action while there is a complete re-draw for the final three tables.

Dominik Nitshce – 645,000
Brian Rast – 675,000
Keith Gipson – Eliminated
