Day 1a of the WPT Prime PLayground Championship attracted 217 total entrants, with just 28 players progressing to Day 2, all of whom will be in the money.
The bubble burst with around 10 minutes left on Level 16. Kevin Rivest eliminated Sean Daneshvaziri on the stone bubble to extend his chip lead over the rest of the Day 1a field, ultimately finishing with 960,000.
Frederic Normand, who just last year won the WPT bestbet scramble in Jacksonville for $351,600, also advanced in today’s flight, finishing with 371,000.

Saiteja Keetha – 827,000
Youssef Hmama 650,000
Stephane Blouin-Verroeulst – 526,000
Joey Messina – 425,000
Day 1b begins on Monday, October 21 at noon local time, with Day 1c following on October 22 at noon local time and Day 1c taking place on October 23 at noon local time. The survivors from four starting flights combine for Day 2 on October 24 at noon local time.
