Krzysztof Pregowski: "The Crowds are Changing"

Krzysztof Pregowski is no stranger to success here at Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City after taking down last year’s 888Live London Easter Edition for £21,000 after a three-way deal.

“I enjoy the atmosphere here at Aspers,” said Pregowski, who was discussing how many chips you’d need to make it to the 5% advancing through to Day 2.

Someone remarked that the online chip leader bagged over 900,000 in chips but Pregowski waved him away.

“That means nothing; few spots and he’s down to average.”

The WPT500 London is the latest big tournament to come to Aspers, and Pregowski says they have changed the type of tournament fields when they’re in town.

“You used to recognise everyone at the tables, but nowadays the large tournaments are attracting more external players as opposed to regulars.

“I love playing tournaments, especially the big ones, but the crowds are changing with more and more exciting large tournaments.”
