As a small crowd gathers at a nearby table, Mike Sexton glances over and sees Michael Rocco stacking a huge pile chips. Sexton asks, "What happened over there?"
Rocco smiles and asks Sexton and the others, "You want to hear how bad I play?"
According to Rocco, Kyle Knecht raised to 1,250 from under the gun and Rocco reraised to 4,500 behind him. Action folded back around to Knecht and he four-bet to 10,800. Rocco flat called and the flop came down [Kh8c2h]. Knecht bet 12,000 and Rocco moved all-in for around 50,000.
Knecht called instantly with pocket aces and Rocco turned over [Ah4h] for the nut flush draw. Rocco had Knecht drawing dead with the [5h] on the turn, and, after a meaningless river, Knecht exited the tournament area and Rocco raked in the pot to take the chip lead midway through the second level of the day.
Michael Rocco – 160,000
Kyle Knecht – eliminated
