Ludovic Lacey opens with a raise to 2,000 from early position, two players fold and Andras Kovac calls. Another player folds and Jean Noel Thorel in the big blind calls too.
The [3s10c8h] flop is met with a bet of 3,000 from Thorel, a raise to 10,000 by Lacey and then a massive bet of 28,500 from Kovacs. This last bet causes a chuckle from Thorel and he quicklly folds. Lacey then goes into the tank for almost three minutes before he emerges and announces he is all in.
"I think I have priced myself in to call," informs Kovacs and when he discovers that it is only an extra 20,500 to call he does just that.
Kovacs: [QdJh]
Lacey: [AsTh]
The turn is the [2s] whcih changes nothing and the river is the [Ks], which means Lacey’s pair of tens are the best hand and he will be bagging up around 60,000 chips.
