Lee Markholt Plays Salesman

Action folds to Kyle Julius in the cutoff and he raises to 825. Alex Outhred is next to act on the button and raises to 2,625.  WPT Champions Club member Lee Markholt is in the small blind and four-bets to 6,800.

Julius thinks for a good two minutes about what to do, eyeing both of his opponents before folding. Outhred takes substantially less time before announcing, "Not good enough," and folding.

Julius immediately insists he folded the best hand, then quickly makes Markholt an offer before he mucks. "Can I pay you money to see your hand?"

"Two hundred dollars," Markholt instantly offers.

Julius thinks the price is too high. "How about you show one?"

Markholt counteroffers. "One hundred dollars for one. Two hundred for both."

Julius lets it go, Markholt lets his hand go, and Markholt takes the pot.
