Lellouche Creeps Over the 200,000 Mark

Sep 12, 2012

Ramzi Jelassi raises to 1,250 in first position, Thierry Nardi calls in mid-position before the second placed chip leader, Antony Lellouche, three-bets to 4,600 on the button.

"Good morning," says Jelassi before folding his hand.

Nardi, who looks like an old-school Frenchman, makes the call, and the pair share a flop of [Ah] [Js] [9h], which Nardi very quickly check-calls a 5,400 Lellouche bet. The turn is the [Th] and almost automatically, Nardi check-calls a 11,000 Lellouche bet. The final card is the [Tc] and Nardi checks for the third time. Lellouche studies his opponent before betting 21,000 and it was a tournament defining bet. Nardi decided his hand was not good enough and pushes it into the muck.

Lellouche ~ 202,000
