After a flop of [6c5s4s], Len Ashby moves his very short stack all in, and it’s folded to Jonathan Little, who considers calling. Ashby practically talks him into it, and Little calls with [QcJs] for queen high with two overcards. Ashby shows [Ah5h] for a pair of fives, and he needs it to hold up to stay alive.
The turn pairs the board with the [4d], the river double-pairs the board with the [5h], and Ashby wins the pot with a full house (fives full of fours) to double his short stack in the last hand before the break.
Len Ashby – 7,400
Jonathan Little – 38,400
