Level Two Without Peters

Apr 16, 2018

Level two with blinds of 75-150 just kicked off while the seat of Tobias Peters was occupied by another player. Bart Spijkers had even more chips in front and used those to put maximum pressure on Ersin Sancak.

With the completed board showing Diamond 7Club 8Heart 2Club 6Club 5, Sancak had only 5,600 left and was facing the all in by Spijkers, who slid forward his stack of T-5,000 chips. Sancak folded and was shown pocket queens.

Spijkers also confirmed that he had sent Tobias Peters to the rail after flopping bottom set with pocket fours against the ace-king for top pair and top kicker of Peters. Whether or not the WPTDeepstacks Europe player of the year will give it another try remains to be seen, all players can use one re-entry per starting day.
