Lewis Spencer Wins on the River in Battle of the Brits

A player in early position raises to 4,000 and Lewis Spencer calls in middle position. Nick Marchington then three-bets to 14,000 in the cutoff and only Spencer calls.

The flop is and Marchington continues for 6,000. Spencer calls and both players check the turn.

Spencer leads out for 25,500 on the river and Marchington spends a minute shuffling around his cards before tossing them into the muck.

“I really wanted to see those cards,” a tablemate says as Spencer drags in the pot.
