Loic Dobrigna Left With one Big Blind

Mar 1, 2020

Alain Zeidan opens the pot for 26,000 and Loic Dobrigna three-bets the cutoff to 132,000, leaving himself a single 12,000 big blind behind. The big blind calls 26,000 thinking it’s him heads up against Zeidan but is made aware that it’s 132,000 total right away. After the floor makes the ruling that the big blind can still call but if he folds, he loses the 26,000, he eventually calls for 132,000. Zeidan folds.

The flop comes Heart 6Heart 2Heart 10 and both players check. The big blind tosses in a single 25,000 chip to put Dobrigna all in on the Heart Q turn. Dobrigna tanks for a bit and eventually folds his Spade ASpade 10 face up. The big blind shows Diamond 10Club 10 and Dobrigna goes into the break with a single big blind.
