Lokesh Garg Eliminated By a One-Outer

Oct 29, 2011

Larry Greenberg checks the [Ks9s4c] flop and Lokesh Garg bets 12,500 into the pot of 32,000 or so.  Greenberg then check-raises to 27,000 total.  Garg thinks a bit, then calls.

The turn brings the [8s] and Greenberg announces he is al-in, having Garg’s remaining 80,000 chips covered by 15,000 or so.  Garg thinks for over a minute, then announces call.

Garg turns over [KdKc] for a set of kings and Greenberg is drawing to just a single out with his [9c9h] for a set of nines.

Greenberg hits that out when the river comes [9d].

"Oh my God," Garg exclaims.  He lets out a sigh and waits for the dealer to count the stacks and make sure Greeneberg has him covered.  Before he exits, Garg makes sure to shake Greenberg’s hand and sincerely wish him luck with the rest of the tournament.

Larry Greenberg – 275,000 (115 BBs)
Lokesh Garg – eliminated
