Jim Carroll raises under the gun to 2,100, Loni Hui reraises UTG+1 to 6,500, and Carroll calls.
Both players check to the turn on a board of 
, and Carroll pauses for a few moments before he checks, saying, “I’d like to see one more card.”
But Hui bets 7,000, and Carroll thinks for a bit before he says, “Is ace-jack of hearts any good here?”
Carroll folds, showing one card — the 
for a pair of jacks. Hui returns the favor, also showing one card — the 
for a pair of kings. Hui takes the pot.
