Tran thinks for a minute, then bets 2,400. After about five seconds he looks at his bet and goes, “Oh no, I meant blue,” pointing towards the black 100 chips. Tran claims he meant to bet 22,000 and bet 2,400 by accident. He asks the dealer if he can change his bet and the dealer tells him no.
McLaughlin is already reaching into his stack to pick up chips.
Tran is surprised. “You’re still going to raise?”
He is. McLaughlin raises to 24,000 total. Tran thinks for a good two minutes before folding and McLaughlin takes the pot.
