Everyone seems completely uninterested in the hand as it folds lazily to Antonio Massi in the small blind. Massi opens up to 6,200 and Marvin Rettenmaier calls in the big blind. The flop is [Kc] [9d] [4h] and both players check. On the turn of [8h] Massi bets 7,500 and Rettenmaier makes the call. Lastly, the dealer gives us the [Kh] on the river and Massi bets 16,200. Rettenmaier goes into thought mode and eventually raises to 51,200.
"All-in," says Massi.
"Did he just say all-in?" Rettenmaier asks the dealer who nods her head in the positive affirmation, "wow, I wasn’t expecting that," Said Rettenmaier as he leaps to his feet, "I call."
Rettenmaier turns over [Ah] [Jh] and Massi turns over [Ks] [3s]. The end result is an early shower for Massi, a chip lead for Rettenmaier and a table full of open mouthed poker players.
"How do you do that?" Giovanni Rizzo asks Marvin who responds with a little chuckle.
