Max Pescatori Has Good Memories of Berlin

Since the dinner break, Max Pescatori has registered for WPTDeepStacks Berlin and sat down at his table in the middle of the room. He’s sat facing the stage, next to which the WPT Champions Cup is positioned ready for the WPT European Championship Main Event which gets underway on the 10th January.

“It’s just over there,” said Pescatori, “I took a picture and put it on Instagram. You know, with Berlin and the cup…with Italy winning the World Cup here in Berlin it was just too good a reference!”

Pescatori is quietly sat watching his football and sits on a decent stack as the players take another 15-minute break.

“I really like the fact that the trophy is here. The overall concept of each winner being part of history, and the fact that they brought it here is really cool.”

Although Pescatori will have to wait for a shot at adding his name to the growing list of plaques on the Champions Cup, he is still in with a shot of DeepStacks glory here in the city where, as he rightly mentioned, so many Italians have been glorious before.
