Photo: Maxwell Young is the overall chipleader heading into Day 2 with 623,000 (249 big blinds).
There were 924 entries on Day 1B of the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship, and 346 players bagged up chips for Day 2, which begins tomorrow (Sunday) at 12:00 noon EDT. The total field size reached 1,869 entries, generating a total prizepool worth $5,980,800, which nearly doubled the $3 million guarantee.
The biggest stack on Day 1B belongs to Maxwell Young, and there were only two other players who bagged more than 400K:
1. Maxwell Young – 623,000 (249 bb)
2. Valeriy Pak – 530,000 (212 bb)
3. Gregory Wilson – 455,500 (182 bb)
The full list of chip counts will be posted later tonight on the Chip Counts page, followed by the official Day 2 seat draw which will be posted overnight. Day 2 will begin with 644 players, and the final 234 will finish in the money. Here is the full list of payouts:
