Photo: Michael Green pumps his fist after risking an all-in on the money bubble when a fold would have guaranteed him a min-cash.
When Allie Prescott busted on the money bubble a short while ago, there was still another hand in progress between Michael Green and Daryl Jace. Prescott was giving an exit interview to the WPT cameras, unaware that there was a chance he could chop a min-cash if another player busted.
After a flop of [Kh3s2h], Green is all in for 23,500 with [AdKd] (pair of kings) against the [9s7d] (nine high) of Daryl Jace.
Prescott doesn’t even realize this pot is taking place, and it’d be worth $12,528 to him if Jace comes back to win. Once Prescott busted, Green could have just folded this hand to guarantee himself a full $25,056 for a min-cash.
The turn is the [Ks], the river is the [Jh], and Michael Green wins the pot with trip kings to double up in chips.
Michael Green – 110,000
Daryl Jace – 150,000 (Jace has since been eliminated.)
