Michael Nia entered the day with one of the shortest stacks in the room, but after a pair of double-ups through Omar Bravo, he’s got a more than healthy stack.
Nia and Bravo passed along the details of the key hands, with Nia first getting about 40,000 in preflop with against Bravo’s . Nia flopped and rivered eights to make trips for his first double-up.
Then shortly after, Nia raised, then called a three-bet to 37,000 by Bravo. On a flop, Nia got his last 60,000 in with against Bravo’s and hit another on the turn with the river bricking out to give Nia back to back wins with trips.
Michael Nia – 237,000 (79 bb)
Omar Bravo – 285,000 (95 bb)
