With eight events completed during the WPT World Championship Festival, the WPT Player of the Festival race is starting to take shape.
As you can see in the graphic above, Michael Rossitto and George Tomescu hold a slight lead with 750 points each. Rossitto won the opening $600 NLH event, and Tomescu won the $1,600 Mystery Bounty.
But there are still plenty more points to be awarded, so the title and the first prize is still up for grabs. Points are awarded based on two variables — the buy-in and the total prizepool of each event. Players must finish in the money to earn points, and the details for earning points can be found in the official rules (click here).
The top three finishers will earn the following prizes:
1st Place: WPT Passport valued at $10,400, which can be used at the Season XXII WPT World Championship.
2nd Place: WPT Passport valued at $3,500, which can be used at any Season XXII WPT live event across the globe.
3rd Place: WPT Passport valued at $1,100, which can be used at any Season XXII WPT Prime live event across the globe.
