Michael Winnett Doubles Thru Michael McNeil

Apr 29, 2011

It isn’t often you see a guy in a stuffed novelty space helmet sitting in a half-empty arena waiting to play poker.  However, the group here at the Seminole Hard Rock was treated to just such an image this morning courtesy of Michael Winnett, the man known as Squeakie.

Winnett received a one-round penalty on the last hand of the night for discussing his holdings with action pending against Allen Bari.  As a result, Winnett sat out the first orbit of action this morning.  That explains why he was sitting alone waiting to play.  We have no clue what the space helmet is about.

Winnet got right to work once he was allowed to join the table, getting it all-in preflop holding [AhJd] to Michal McNeil’s [AdKc].  Things looked bad for Squeakie on the [9s7c6h] flop, but he spikes the [Jh] on the turn to take the advantage in the hand.  With the [Qs] on the river, Winnett takes the pot and doubles up.  Squeaking ensues.

Michael Winnett – 53,000
Michael McNeil – 23,000
