In the last hand before the break, with the board showing [Jd8d7s3c] on the turn, Mike Miller bets 17,000 from the big blind, Ben Tollerene folds under the gun, and Mike Scarborough stops to think from early position.
Scarborough asks Miller, "A jack?" Miller says, "You put me on one pair? Really?" Scarborough thinks for a little while longer before he calls.
The river card is the [10d], and Miller bets 17,000 again. Scarborough thinks for a while before raising with a big stack of chips, enough to put Miller all in. Miller calls all in for about 55,000, and Scarborough turns over [6d5d] for a diamond flush on the river.
Miller tosses his cards in the muck in frustration as he is eliminated from the tournament. Miller sarcastically says, "Nice call on the flop," but Scarborough just shrugs. Miller says something about turning the nut straight as he walks away.
Mike Scarborough – 233,500
Mike Miller – Out in 22nd Place
As a side note to this hand, the tables needed to be balanced during the break, and Ali Eslami was moved from Table 2 to Table 1.
