Mike Sexton and ClubWPT Qualifier Amy Barish

ClubWPT.com qualifier Amy Barish had a couple of hopes for this tournament, in addition to the obvious one — a victory.

Barish wanted to meet her favorite player, Daniel Negreanu, and she got to chat with him during a break yesterday. But she was also hoping to meet WPT Commentators Mike Sexton and Vince Van Patten.

Well, it’s one thing to meet a Poker Hall of Famer like Mike Sexton; it’s another thing to play against him on Day 2 of a $10,300 buy-in World Poker Tour event with a $1.14 million first prize.

As you can see in the photo above (with Sexton in the foreground), Barish has had yet another of her poker dreams fulfilled.

Not only that, but Barish continues to hold her own in this field packed with pros. She even has an above-average stack of nearly 100,000.
