One of the most famous players in today’s field is Shashi Naidoo, and the South African model just raked in a big pot.
The action started on Naidoo who limped before the flop after which one other player limped before Matt Mulhall completed from the small blind. The big blind checked and four players saw a 949 flop.
Mulhall lead out from the small blind for 650, the big blind folded and Naidoo made the call.
On the turn the 3 hit and Mulhall lead for another 1,500. Naidoo looked at her cards and Mulhall said, “You have a club?”
“I don’t know,” Naidoo said, in an attempt to maintain her innocence.
Naidoo put in the call and the A completed the board on the river, and Mulhall lead out for 2,000.
Naidoo called quickly again and Mulhall said, “A pair of fives, is that good?”
“Good, but not good enough,” Naidoo said playfully, as she showed 67 for a flush.
Mulhall’s now down to 13,000 while Naidoo sits on a very comfortable 68,000 chips.
