The tournament screens show a total of 57 players near the end of level two, of which 56 remain, and several new faces entered the competition. Among them were the two Brits Jamie Sykes and Mathew Frankland, Ali Reza Fatehi and Bernd Werner.
Werner and Fatehi share the same table and the latter was just involved in a hand against Sinan Turhan. Fatehi checked the flop and called a bet of 300. The turn and river were checked and Fatehi tabled as winning hand.
Sykes scooped a small pot against Liautaras Armanavicius after calling a bet of 1,100 by the Lithuanian on the heads-up flop of before checking through the turn and river. Armanavicius flashed for king-high only, which Sykes had beat with .
