Nick Petrangelo Gets Shorter

Nick Petrangelo limps the small blind and Mikita Badziakouski checks in the big blind. On the flop, Petrangelo check-calls for 80,000 and does so again for 270,000 on the turn.

They check the river and Petrangelo shows the for a pair of eights. Badziakouski, however, has the for an inferior pair.

One hand later, Petrangelo asks Isaac Haxton in the big blind for the stack size. “Two, three, sixty-five,” Haxton instantly replies. Petrangelo raises to 160,000 and Badziakouski calls. Haxton jams and forces two folds.
